We sell direct from manufacturer to customer, workshop to door, with one operating margin between us. The Vector is CNC-machined from solid TC4 titanium bar stock; the price reflects the cost of materials, machining, shipping, and that margin.
Any standard double-edge (DE) blade. We recommend starting with a mid-aggression blade like Astra Superior Platinum or Personna, then trying sharper options like Feather once you’ve dialed in your angle.
The Set includes a 316L stainless steel weighted stand (585g, ⌀63mm × 40mm). The razor itself is identical in both options.
Every Vector order includes a LEDGER blade assembly — five DE blades from different brands. Finding the blade your skin likes is the first ritual of wetshaving: shave through the sampler, note which one leaves your face calm, then buy a full pack of that one for cents apiece.
Every 3–5 shaves for most people — coarse beards or daily shaving sit at the low end, finer beards stretch toward 7. A worn edge is what causes irritation, so don’t push past the first tug. At a few cents per blade, the running cost stays far below cartridge refills (illustrative — actual spend depends on how often you shave). Used blades go into the VAULT blade bank through a one-way slot, so they never sit loose in a bathroom bin.
