The same geometry in two different weights

The 316L stainless steel and TC4 titanium razors share the same head geometry and accept standard double-edge blades. The practical choice is mass: 316L is 104 g for a more substantial feel, while TC4 is 60 g for a lighter handle.

The weighted stand is machined from 316L stainless steel for a planted base. Paired with the TC4 razor, that contrast is deliberate: less mass in the hand, more mass where the razor rests.

How is the Vector priced the way it is?

We sell direct from manufacturer to customer, workshop to door, with one operating margin between us. The Vector is CNC-machined from 316L stainless steel or TC4 titanium, depending on the version you choose. The price reflects the selected material, machining, shipping, and that margin.

What blades does the Vector accept?

Any standard double-edge (DE) blade. We recommend starting with a mid-aggression blade like Astra Superior Platinum or Personna, then trying sharper options like Feather once you’ve dialed in your angle.

Does the Vector include a stand?

Razor Only does not include a stand. If a Razor + Stand option is available in the selector, it adds a 316L stainless steel weighted stand (585 g, ⌀63 mm × 40 mm) to the same razor. Check the selector for current combinations and availability.

Does the Vector come with blades?

Every Vector order includes a LEDGER blade assembly — five DE blades from different brands. Finding the blade your skin likes is the first ritual of wetshaving: shave through the sampler, note which one leaves your face calm, then buy a full pack of that one for cents apiece.

How often do I change the blade?

Every 3–5 shaves for most people — coarse beards or daily shaving sit at the low end, finer beards stretch toward 7. A worn edge is what causes irritation, so don’t push past the first tug. At a few cents per blade, the running cost stays far below cartridge refills (illustrative — actual spend depends on how often you shave). Used blades go into the VAULT blade bank through a one-way slot, so they never sit loose in a bathroom bin.
