Frequently Asked Questions

The top slot fits standard double-edge (DE) safety razor blades. It also takes single-edge (SE) blades, shavette half-blades, utility and craft blades, and bent sewing pins or broken needles — anything small and sharp you don’t want loose in the trash. It’s not designed for cartridge-style razor heads.
It holds 100+ standard double-edge blades. For a daily wet shaver who changes blades about once a week, that’s roughly two years before it fills up.
It’s ⌀47 mm × 68 mm (about 1.85″ × 2.68″) and weighs 52 g — roughly the size of a small prescription bottle. It sits on a counter next to your razor and fits in a toiletry bag for travel.
The machined aluminum body doesn’t rust the way steel does. The used blades inside can still surface-rust if they go in wet, so let blades dry before dropping them in and keep the lid closed between uses. Wipe the body dry if it gets splashed.
Twist open the lid, pour the used blades into a sharps or recycling container, then reuse the bank. The one-way top slot keeps blades from falling back out while it’s in use, so you only open it when it fills up.
No. This is a storage bank, not a child-resistant or medical sharps container. In a home with small children, keep it out of reach. For clinical-volume disposal, use a regulated sharps container.
