The Vector accepts any standard double-edge (DE) safety razor blade. There is no proprietary cartridge or blade format. We recommend starting with a mid-range blade like Astra Superior Platinum or Personna, then trying sharper options like Feather once you find your preferred setting.
TC4 (Grade 5) titanium is lighter (60 g vs 104 g), stronger, and completely corrosion-proof. 316L stainless steel is medical/marine-grade, heavier, and more affordable. Both are CNC-machined from solid billet — no casting, no plating.
Yes. We install and cure the knot by hand before shipping. The Harbor is a finished, ready-to-use brush — not a DIY kit. The knot is permanently installed and is not user-replaceable.
Harbor handles are CNC-machined from TA2 commercially pure titanium or 6061 aluminum alloy. Both are solid metal throughout — no plating, no plastic cores.
TA2 pure titanium forms a unique crystalline grain pattern during our thermal processing step. The surface texture you see is the internal grain structure of the metal itself — not a coating or applied finish. This means every TA2 Titanium Line handle has a one-of-one pattern that cannot be replicated, even by us. Variations in crystalline density, direction, and scale are inherent to the process and are not defects.
Harbor brush builds require 24–48 hours of curing time after knot installation before they enter the shipping queue. This is a standard finishing step to ensure the knot bond is fully set.
We currently ship direct to the United States (contiguous 48), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan. Orders to the UK are not available at this time.
Core regions (US contiguous 48, Canada, Australia): free shipping on orders $99+ USD, $9.90 flat rate under $99. Non-core destinations (NZ, SG, JP): $15.00 flat rate. Import duties, taxes, and customs handling for international orders are the buyer's responsibility unless prepaid at checkout.
Ready-to-ship razors and accessories normally dispatch within 2–5 business days after payment clears. Harbor brush builds add a 24–48 hour curing window before entering the shipping queue. Delivery time depends on destination and carrier.
Return requests must be initiated within 30 days of confirmed delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, complete, and in original packaging. Hygiene boundary: a razor loaded with a blade, or a brush whose knot has touched water or skin, cannot be returned unless defective.
Approved non-defective returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Original outbound shipping is not refunded, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
ORMIXA offers a limited lifetime warranty on metal components for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Coverage applies to verified defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use. The warranty does not cover normal wear, cosmetic changes, drops, misuse, modifications, or third-party parts.
No. Harbor is sold only as a configured brush build. Knots are not standalone retail products. DIY knot installation or removal voids the warranty.
Yes. You can complete your purchase without creating an account. Guest buyers receive a tokenized tracking link by email after dispatch.
